People murdered by Brazil's military dictatorship

During the military dictatorship in Brazil from the mid-1960s until 1985,hundreds of Brazilians were detained,tortured and killed for criticizing the government.One of them was a former Congressman named Rubens Paiva.
                           Rubens Paiva was taken away from his family home by agents and tortured intensely during investigation in army barracks.He died as a result of the torture just the next day after being led away from his home.
                         His death was only officially confirmed to his family three decades later in the nineties.What cruelty and injustice!
