Illegally demolished pub rebuilt

 A 100-year -old London pub was illegally demolished in 2015 by greedy developers who wanted the land.They were ordered to rebuild it exactly as it was,brick by brick.The Carlton Tavern was the only building on the street that wasn't destroyed during the Blitz in World War II.

                       This pub was thankfully rebuilt and reopened its doors to the public in 2021.

                       Developers who illegally demolish historic buildings or heritage buildings elsewhere must similarly be forced to rebuild them.
