Rue de Bullion in Montreal

 Rue de Bullion runs from downtown in Montreal to Laurier Avenue.Rue de Bullion is named after Angelique de Bullion,a French philanthropist who was an important benefactor in the founding of Montreal by providing funds for the construction and maintenance of the Hotel-Dieu hospital in 1642.

        Angelique Faure,marquise de Bullion(1593-1662) was the wealthy widow of Claude de Bullion, the superintendent of finances for France.
