Rue Garnier in Montreal

 Rue Garnier in Montreal is named after Father Charles Garnier(1606-1649),a French Jesuit missionary and martyr in New France,celebrated for his work with the Huron(Wendat)people before being killed by the Iroquois in 1649.He was later canonized as a saint in 1930.
