 M.F.Hussain(1915-2011) was an Indian painter and film director who was nicknamed the "Barefoot Picasso of India."

              He was an instantly recognizable figure in India's art world and chose to go barefoot,like many poor Indians,connecting him to the earth and his creative inspiration.
