The predators of mongoose

 Snakes,the marabou stork,jackals and hawks have been known to eat mongooses.Specifcally,mongooses have been known to kill snakes that want to eat them,such as cobras .

           Birds of prey are the mongoose 's biggest predator threat,though lions,leopards and African wild dogs will also occasionally hunt them.African wild dogs usually try to catch mongoose when large prey are scarce.
