What do mongoose eat?

 Mongoose are omnivores;they are opportunistic feeders that will eat birds,small mammals,reptiles,fruits and plants.They prey on the eggs and hatchlings of native ground nesting birds and endangered sea turtles.

         Mongoose live in  burrows  and are nondiscriminatory predators feeding also on rodents,frogs,insects,fish and worms.Some species supplement their diet with fruits,nuts,seeds,roots and berries.
