Turkish refugees in Syria

 An influx of Syrian refugees in Turkey in 2020,2021 and 2022 willing to work for lower salaries has made it hard for Turks to compete.

          As Turkish elections near,the fate of Syrian refugees hangs in the balance.

             Both main candidates in Turkey's upcoming presidential election have promised to send hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugeesback to Syria.Human rights observers warn that Syria is not safe for returnees,but Turkish voters are largely in support.For 3.6 million Syrians living in Turkey,their fate may lie in an election they cannot participate in.-PRI,THE WORLD,March 31,2023.
