                                   Some owners of iceberg homes add a karaoke lounge,a sauna and a basketball court.Wealthy homeowners sometimes build downwards to escape planning restrictions.

                                        But when there is heavy rain these iceberg homes will tend to flood.Apart from the higher risk of flooding,these iceberg homes have an effect on neighboring properties and the environment.Also when the ground is dug too deep,the land settles in unforeseen ways sometimes.These iceberg homes pose risks to the foundations of nearby buildings and can cause neighboring buildings to crack.The iceberg homes can cause neighboring buildings to have structural challenges.
