A political party dead as John Cleese's parrot

The Coalition Avenue Quebec(CAQ) ,the former ruling party

of Quebec  got decimated in the Quebec provincial elections on October 5,2026 and failed to win a single single seat. The party essentially got wiped off the electoral map .

Tom Mulcair, commentator on Montreal radio station CJAD800 Am said on the Aaron Rand Show on Friday, October 16,2026 that the CAQ was dead as a political party, dead as John Cleese's parrot.

The CAQ strangely won 13% of the popular vote but lost all their seats.Go figure.
