 Quebec author Louise Penny's husband was Dr.Michael Whitehead,a prominent pediatric hematologist who directed the hematology department at the Montreal Children's Hospital.Dr.Whitehead passed away at the age of 82 in 2016 after a courageous battle with dementia.
