Socioeconomic divide in Oshawa

 The city of Oshawa,Ontario features a distinct class divide .While the most affluent northern suburbs are playfully called "Poshawa",the downtown and southern areas have struggled with visible poverty, homelessness and drug issues following the auto industry's decline.
