The wonders of agar

 Agar is extracted from red algae.Agar,also known as agar agar is essentially a vegetable analog of gelatin.Agar is widely used in vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

      Agar is a gelling agent.Agar is widely used in Asian cuisine for jelly dessert.Agar can also  be found as a thickener in soups,ice creams and jams.
