Fraud in cayenne pepper

 Cayenne pepper is frequently subject to food fraud, often involving adulteration with fillers like sawdust or stone dust to increase weight,and artificial dyes to enhance color.Serious health risks can arise from  the use of banned substances,such as red lead oxide or carcinogenic Sudan dyes,to mimic a rich red color.
