Fletcher Avenue

 Avenue Fletcher in the Tetreaultville neighborhood of Montreal is named after James Fletcher(1839-1910).He was a local farmer and served as a councillor for the municipality of the parish of Longue Pointe between 1888 and 1890.

                   It is refreshing for me to see an anglophone street name in a traditionally very French-speaking neighborhood like Tetreaultville.
