This famous singer died of kidney failure

 Singer Barry White died on June 4,2003 ,at the age of only 58 from kidney failure caused by chronic hypertension.He passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles while  awaiting a kidney transplant.He had been in poor health for several years leading up to his death.
