Diet of Kakapos

 Kakapos,the world's only flightless parrots are herbivores (vegetarian) and feed exclusively on plant matter.

             They eat fruit and seeds, especially the fruit of the rimu tree,which is a key food source.The Kakapo also eats vegetation such as leaves,buds,flowers,stems,and fern fronds.
