Nikola Tesla was a polyglot

 Scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla was a hyper-polyglot who spoke eight languages fluently:Serrbo-Croatian,Czech,English,French, German, Hungarian, Italian and Latin.

            As a native of the Austro-Hungarian Empire,he learned several of these in school and through his work in different regions.
