 Nearshoring is a business strategy of relocating manufacturing or service operations to a nearby country, usually sharing a similar time zone,rather than distant,lower-cost locations.It reduces supply chain disruptions,lower transportation costs and improves communication,with common examples being U.S. companies shifting production from China to Mexico.
