Actor dies of cancer at the age of 48

 Actor James Van Der Beek sadly died of colorectal cancer on February 11,2026 at the age of only 48 in Austin,Texas.He was born in Cheshire, Connecticut.

              He was best known for his role on the 1990's Tv show Dawson Creek.

            Van Der Beek announced in November 2024 he was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer.

          James Van Der Beek is survived by his wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek,and six children Olivia,Joshua,Annabel,Emilia, Gwendolyn and Jeremiah.
