She died in a biking accident in Montreal in 2013

 55 year-old biker Suzanne Chatelain died in a biking accident on July 18,2013 in Montreal on Parc Avenue at the corner of Saint-Viateur Avenue.

                   Suzanne Chatelain was killed after she swerved into the path of a bus,while trying to avoid a van door that had been suddenly opened in her path .

         A ghost bike has been installed on Parc Avenue just north of Saint-Viateur Avenue to commemorate her tragic death.
