He magically survived a suicide attempt

 Kevin Hines survived a 2000 suicide attempt,a jump from the Golden Gate Bridge after a sea lion  kept him afloat until rescuers arrived,a story often contrasted with cases where sea lions themselves need human rescue from plastic pollution.
