Why people follow the herd

 Psychologist Stanley Milgram(1933-1984) found that 80% of the population does not have the psychological or moral wherewithal to defy authority,no matter how illegitimate the rules and orders may be.

               They follow the herd.People largely follow the herd because it seems the safe thing to do.

                 That leaves only 20% of us with critical thinking abilities.
