The new mayor of Montreal

 Soraya Martinez Ferrada(born August 28,1972) a as elected the new mayor of Montreal on November 2,2025.

       She was born in Santiago,Chile.She moved with her family to Canada in 1980,fleeing the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet.She lived in the east end of Montreal,as well as Longueuil and Pointe-aux-Trembles.
