Large granite monolith

 El Capitan is the world's largest granite monolith,3000 feet high-three times the height of the Eiffel Tower,more than twice as high as the Empire State Building.

                   El Capitan is indeed more than twice the height of the Empire State Building,towering over 3,000 feet from the Yosemite Valley Floor,while the Empire State Building is 1,250 feet tall(to its roof).
