This famous novelist died of complications from plastic surgery
Best-selling novelist Olivia Goldsmith died on January 15,2004 at only the age of 54 in Manhattan,New York as a result of complications (heart attack ) from cosmetic surgery.She died during a plastic surgery operation for a chin-tuck.She died of complications from anesthesia eight days after she entered the hospital.She lapsed into a deep coma while being prepped for plastic surgery.In fact,she died during a facelift.How tragic!A reminder that a single seemingly routine plastic surgery procedure can turn deadly.
Olivia Goldsmith was the author of the popular humorous novel 'The First Wives Club' that was turned into a movie in 1996 featuring Bette Midler and Diane Keaton.
