Rue Coupal in Montreal

 Rue Coupal in Montreal is named after Antoine Coupal(1790-1875),a cultivator from l'Acadie who participated in the 1837-1838 Rebellions,was sentenced to death,and deported to Australia for six years.He returned in 1845.

                  Rue Coupal is in the downtown borough of Ville Marie between metro Papineau and metro Frontenac.
