How heat waves affect the vulnerable

 Heat waves are silent killers and hit the most vulnerable the hardest-seniors who are over the age of 65 and those who have underlying health conditions.

 As we get older our bodies are not able to adapt as well to heat because our bodies are not able to regulate high temperatures easily;we do not sweat easily as we get older.
