Swedish billionaire bought a part of the Amazon rainforest

 Swedish billionaire activist Jonah Eliasch made headlines in 2005 by purchasing 400,000 acres(approximately 1,600 square kilometres)of the Amazon rainforest near Brazil's Madeira River.

       The acquisition was not made for commercial exploitation but was driven by a commitment to conservation.Eliasch aimed to protect the rainforest from deforestation and preserve its biodiversity.

           We need many more people like Jonah Eliasch.
