Dehydration can cause a burning sensation in urine

Dehydration can cause a burning sensation in urine, also known as dysuria. When you're dehydrated, your urine becomes more concentrated, which can irritate the bladder and urethra, leading to pain or burning while urination.

Dehydration makes your urine more concentrated, meaning there are fewer fluids to dilute the waste products and minerals.

These concentrated irritants can irritate the lining of the bladder and urethra, causing discomfort, pain or a burning sensation during urination.

Drinking plenty of water can help dilute your urine and reduce the concentration of irritants, which can alleviate the burning sensation.

Regular urination helps flush out the urinary tract and prevent the build-up of concentrated urine.
