Belgian student died after eating unrefrigerated pasta

 In 2008,a 20 year  old Belgian student did not survive after consuming leftover spaghetti that had been left unrefrigerated for five days.The cause was Bacillus Cereus,a bacterium linked to 'Fried Rice Syndrome'',which thrives in starchy foods left at room temperature and produces harmful toxins.
