A great Portuguese food store in Plateau Mont Royal

 Marché Sa et fils is a wonderful Portuguese food store in Plateau Mont Royal in Montreal.It is situated at 4701 rue St.Urbain and is at the corner of rue Villeneuve.

                     This store sells a lot of quality Portuguese and Brazilian food products in addition to lots of fresh vegetables and fruits.The store partially is a fish shop but they also sell a lot of meat,houseplants and several frozen foods.

                 This store has been serving the Plateau Mont Royal neighborhood since 1975.

                             I first walked into the store in the morning on Tuesday,March 18,2025 and bought  5 or 6 delicious vine-ripened tomatoes at the bargain price of 99 cents per pound.At Supermarché Maxi  during the same week vine-ripened tomatoes were selling at least double the price.

                              It feels great to support mall family-owned local businesses.
