Strawberries and dots

 The tiny dots on strawberries are called ''achenes.''Each achene is a dry fruit that contains a single seed inside .So when you eat a strawberry,you're actually consuming dozens of tiny fruits attached to a fleshy receptacle which is the part we typically call the ''berry''.
