The first mobile phone call

 On April 3,1973,Martin Cooper,a senior engineer at Motorola,made the first mobile phone call.He called his rival Dr.Joel S.Engel at AT&T,stating "Joel,this is Marty.I'm calling you from a cellphone,a real handheld portable cellphone."
