Sam Moore of the duo Sam and Dave dies

 Sam Moore of the duo Sam and Dave,who sang the 1967 hit song Soul Man died of complications from hip surgery in January 2025 in Coral Gables,Florida at the age 89.

                  His partner in the duo,Dave Prater died in a 1988 car crash in Georgia.

       Sam and Dave were high-energy performers;their force mushroomed when they were together.
