California very hard on homeless people

 California in 2024 is pushing a very hardline cruel approach on dismantling homeless encampments in 2024.

            When police dismantle homeless encampments many times  a lot of  the property of these residents is also thrown away,including their identity papers and medication.This is counterproductive because without identity papers it makes it even harder for unsheltered people to get off the streets,access government services or reintegrate into society.

                 This inhumane approach must be stopped.The personal belongings and valuables of the unhoused must not be thrown away and they must all be offered permanent housing,not just shelter beds.
