Lupin is a pulse crop high in protein and fibre;it is increasingly being marketed as a dairy alternative.
The bean called sweet lupin has been used in the Mediterranean for centuries;now in 2023 it is increasingly being used in Canada for high protein-based plant food and to make vegan desserts.
