The importance of bats

 Bats are seen as scary,creepy Halloween creatures.They are nocturnal and elusive.They slip into crevices.

               However,bats are an underappreciated species,vital to protecting what we eat.

                Bats act as natural pest control.As bats go down,insects go up;pesticides go up.Crops get devastated without bats.A bat can eat more than a 1,000  insects per hour on a summer night.
