Calendula flowers are beautiful

 Calendula flowers can also be grown in containers and do well.They are in fact often called " pot marigolds".

             Calendula will not do well in the hot summer heat and prefers the cooler temperatures of spring and early fall.Water regularly until well established,and when the soil is dry.Stress to the plants will cause the flower heads to droop and go to seed.

                It is part of the Asteraceae family along with daisies and chrysanthemums, and has a daisy-like appearance.
