Quebec politicians with foreign roots

 Maka Kotto,a long-time Bloc Quebecois MP and Parti Quebecois MNA was born in Cameroon;Quebec Liberal MNA and former finance minister Carlos Leitao has roots in Portugal;Dominique Olivier,the chair of Montreal's executive committee, came from Haiti;Aref Salem, the leader of Ensemble Montreal,the official opposition at Montreal city Hall,fled the war in Lebanon,which was the birthplace of Quebec Solidaire Ruba Ghazal, as well.
