Expensive Singapore

 In 2021 Singapore is one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in.

                       Singapore is tiny and land-scarce.

                                    But Singapore used to be a fishing village.It used to be sleepy jungle and swampland.In the 1960s the government of Singapore embarked on an urbanisation project  and put up a lot of high-rise buildings.In the 1960s,villages known as kampongs were bulldozed by the Singapore government;the government took land away from villagers and others and rehoused them in skyscrapers.
